Courcey AC presents Garrettstown 5 Mile Road Race! Back for 2026 (formerly Courcey AC 5 Mile) – This is a looped five mile course taking in the back roads and main roads between Ballinspittle, Garrettstown & Garrylucas beach near the Old Head of Kinsale. Starting at Garrylucas, the course takes in some fantastic scenery which includes a final mile which will have participants looking out at the Atlantic Ocean passing Garrettstown beach.
- Participants must be 15 years or older on the day of the race
- Single race entry €20 + booking fee
- Entry non refundable/non-transferrable
- Buggies / Strollers not permitted
- Event capacity capped, get your entry in early
- Chip Timed
- This is a running / jogging only event. Walking is not permitted.
This event is run under an Athletics Ireland permit/licence

Please note that the board of Athletics Ireland has established the requirement for all non-Athletics Ireland registered runners to purchase a One Day Licence (2 euro) during the registration process.
